... or "Do you really want to read this?"
There's not really much to tell.

How about the "tale of the tape"

Height: 6feet, 4inches
Weight: 245lbs
Boot: 15
Eyes: 2 (look at the photos to decide what colour they are)
Hair: not much, but usually brown and cut very short

Very fortunate to be raised by a very loving and devoted single mother.  If you've met her, you'd realize my penchant for humour and following the beat of a different drum is genetic.  To date, I am proud to say that she continues to be a best friend of mine and often we take turns counseling each other in regards to what life throws at one another.

Life took some unexpected turns for me (don't they always) and I've become adept with just rolling with it.  I can't complain though, somehow I've maintained old friendships far and beyond the average, according to my colleagues.  I tried university for a year and did very well, but I lacked direction.  I've never regretted my decision as the things I learned in the college of life and Sidewalk University far outweigh what I may have learned in the classroom.

I've trained in the martial arts and consider myself quite adept at Karate and Japanese weapons (Kobudo & Kenjutsu) as well I am currently re-training in JuJitsu and have once again taken up practical weapon arts as Escrima (Filipino stick fighting) and chain-style arts.  I never really did well in sports in school, since I didn't appreciate some of the disgusting favouritism by teachers, nor perhaps at my rapid physical development.  At times I couldn't walk without falling over my growing legs and feet.

I love swords.  And Archery.  When away from the city and work, I can be found up north away from the crowds practicing with my Hanwei Katana or shooting my compound bow.  For the record, I don't hunt, but I like to keep some skill up to speed to hone my abilities.

As mentioned previously, I've been blessed with awesome friends, such as the Scott family and many others made throughout SW Ontario.  I'd like to think that a man is judged by the content of his peers - if that is true, then I must be doing very well indeed.  It was hard for me to make friends due to my size (people were often wrongfully intimidated by it), and perhaps my interesting sense of humour.  I've always been tall and powerfully built, but as a result, my formative years were socially awkward to say the least.  Only in my late teens did I begin to form lasting friendships, many that continue to date.

I have resided in the Kitchener-Waterloo area of Ontario Canada for most of my life, with brief stints living in Hamilton, and then Clifford (near Walkerton).

I am deep down just a lighthearted, funny, easygoing individual that follows the cadence of a different drum. I'm not prone to aggression, and it usually takes quite a lot to provoke me ... however an unfortunate few have discovered the hard way how erroneous it is to tempt fate.

I love real music like Orchestra and Classic Rock ... AC/DC's Back In Black, Jimi's Voodoo Child are in my play list next to works from Basil Poledouris and Hans Zimmer.

As to my age, I'm grudgingly no longer in my 20's, but my mind and body still acts that way in most positive aspects.

I got married too early in life, and that relationship ended poorly when I discovered her behaving very poorly and not upholding the same vows I took.  As of late 2006 that chapter in my life is happily concluded forever (I received rounds of applause when I showed a large gathering of associates a framed copy of my divorce certificate).
I will likely expand this pagen the near future.
