The name "Neoengel" roughly translates into "New Angel". I had a free web-email account by the same name and thought it would be nifty to own a unique domain name as such. On a whim is was purchased and continues to draw new visitors daily. Before this site, some of the original photos were hosted on Yahoo! Photos, then progressing to a geocities site. In late 2005 the site underwent a major overhaul with various improvements, including a convenient centralized gallery. However some older articles of mine and guests were turfed, but are slowly returning. You may notice that there is no article directory as of yet. I've decided to leave it the way it is for now since there are many diverse topics I've delved into and require a better organized method to present them. They can easily be found via google searches as I've had much to say on politics, fandom and pretty much everything else. Yeah, I also have an LJ - yee .. haw. Well, it's convenient for updates, links to articles and other items. The site is indeed afandom site, and I am proud o share my appreciation for such. The Snake-Eyes portion grew out of many positive responses to my sostume at conventions and discussions on various forums years ago. I wanted a central place to share what I have done and to perhaps encourage others to try their hand at it as well. Retro-80s fandom is rather entertaining and I'm happy to do my part to enjoy some of the better aspects of that often-awful decade. |
